Update: Natural Hair Journey

About two years ago I made the decision to stop perming my hair and go natural; I even started a youtube channel, but about 5 months in I got frustrated and permed my hair! #FAIL So in January of 2011, I decided to try my natural hair journey again and have been going strong since then! I did not immediately do the "big chop," I dealt with what I call "two texture madness" for about a year and in December 2011 I got most of the remaining straight ends cut off! I kept my big chop a secret from most by immediately getting a sew in!!! Sssshhh!!! So today I am posting pics of my hair 5 months after cutting off most of my remaining straight ends in a wash and go style! Loving my curls and still going strong!!! It can be done! Besos!!! 💋
